INFORMATION ABOUT THE ADDITION:

The Warden & the Paunch is a new Lords Pack for Total War: WARHAMMER II. It adds two rival Legendary Lords and their factions from the world of Warhammer Fantasy Battles to the game, which can be used in both the Eye of the Vortex and Mortal Empires campaigns, as well as in individual battles. Each of them has their own objectives, game mechanics, units and playstyle.

Eltharion Grimface commands the warriors of Yvresse (High Elves), while Grom the Paunch leads the Broken Axe tribe (Greenskins). Yvresse and the Broken Axes do not participate in the race for the Vortex. Fate has decreed that they will be eternal sworn enemies. They are destined to meet in time in a final battle in which there will only be one winner.

Many years ago, Eltharion became the Warden of Tor Yvresse, and ever since then he has been constantly on the lookout for signs of a greenskin attack. In the distant past, he sailed across the seas and fought the Druchii of Naggarond. In his absence, Tor Yvresse nearly fell to the green tide when Grom the Paunch´s legendary Waaagh! swept across Ulthuan. Having defeated Grom and dispersed his hordes, Eltharion swore that no foul orc or goblin would ever set foot on the soil of his homeland again.

But Grom does not think so. His vast belly growls with the desire to get even with his enemy, and his thirst for revenge is comparable only to his colossal gluttony. One day, the goblins gathered around a bubbling cauldron. Fishing out and eating more and more tasty pieces, Grom began to think over his plans. He decided that he would gather everyone, from the leaders to the commoners, bring them to a feverish frenzy, and then declare a Waaagh, the likes of which the world has never seen. This time, Tor Yvresse will fall, and his proud Guardian will kneel before the mighty Paunch!
