Using the tangent of the slope of the straight lines to the abscissa axis, determine the limiting monomolecular adsorption A∞ for three temperatures, and using the segment cut off on the y-axis, and the slope of the straight line is the value of the adsorption equilibrium constant K
3. Having determined the limiting monomolecular adsorption A∞ at 293 K, calculate the specific surface area of the adsorbent if the area occupied by a benzene molecule on the surface of graphitized soot S0 is 49∙10-20 m2.
4. Plot lnK versus 1/T and determine ΔH.
5. For A=0.01 mol/kg; A=0.015 mol/kg; A = 0.02 mol/kg, construct isosteres, from which determine graphically the differential isosteric heats of adsorption.
