In the multiplayer tactical first-person shooter Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm, you´ll experience so-called asymmetric warfare, where the opposing forces are unequal, and the weaker side compensates for the imbalance with unconventional combat methods. American soldiers use heavy firearms capable of inflicting colossal damage. The Japanese make up for their lack of firepower with unparalleled courage, unbridled fighting spirit, and innovative use of their weapons. For example, they can fire hand-held mortars both directly and from indirect positions, and they turn grenades into deadly booby traps for inattentive Yankees. Furthermore, the Japanese equip almost all individual firearms with bayonets, making them extremely dangerous opponents in close combat.
