The Reign of Blood expansion changes the visuals of Total War: Three Kingdoms, adding new special effects, animations, and lethal blows. The changes affect both battles and the campaign screen. After installing the add-on, you can change the game´s visual appearance from the graphics settings menu.
• New, bloody and graphic illustrations for events.
• Blood in fighting character animations during auto-combat rendering.
• Human dismemberment: limbs and heads are severed.
• Horse dismemberment: legs are severed.
• Charred corpses.
• Blood spatter when wounded.
• New death animations for battles between characters and infantry.
• Scattered corpses decorate the battlefield.
• The naturalism and brutality of visual effects can be adjusted.
