To ensure your people´s victory, you will have to explore and conquer new territories, recruit recruits, and deploy troops, creating colossal and terrifying battle mechs. Change history in a fictional past filled with machines and technology, where every choice you make will be crucial. GAMEPLAY
◼️ FEATURES: Each player begins the game with different resources and assets (amount of energy, coins, popularity, and their own combat style), at different starting points, and with different secret objectives. These starting points are specifically designed to highlight the uniqueness of each faction and the asymmetrical nature of the game.
◼️ STRATEGY: Scythe gives players almost complete control over their own destiny. The only random elements, with the exception of the individual Secret Mission card, are the encounter cards players draw from the deck to interact with the inhabitants of the newly discovered lands. Combat also follows the player´s choices; there is no room for luck or chance.
◼️ MACHINERY: Players can expand their construction capabilities to improve efficiency, construct buildings that improve their position on the map, recruit new recruits to join their faction, activate mechs to protect against enemy attacks, and expand their borders to obtain more and better resources. This creates a sense of activity and progression throughout the game. The order in which players develop their economy and technologies ensures that each game is unique, even if they choose the same faction multiple times.
