Legend of Grimrock is a dungeon crawler RPG with a modern twist, but with an old-school feel. A group of prisoners are sentenced to certain death in exile on the isolated Mount Grimrock for heinous crimes they may not have committed. Unbeknownst to their captors, the mountain is riddled with ancient tunnels, dungeons, and tombs of long-vanished civilizations. Now, if they ever want to see daylight again and regain their freedom, the ragtag band of exiles must band together and descend through the mountain´s depths, level after level.
The game brings back old-fashioned challenges, such as real-time tactical combat and grid-based movement, cleverly hidden switches and secret areas, as well as deadly traps and terrifying monsters.
