MTProto is Telegram´s proprietary transport protocol.
A dedicated proxy server, MTProxy, has been created to work with it. It understands this protocol and can communicate with Telegram clients in their native language. Fake TLS is present: it disguises the messenger´s encrypted traffic as a standard HTTPS request to a legitimate website.
