EA Sports FC 26 no longer features a direct story mode, but the "Player Career" campaign has become more in-depth. Players can choose their own path: from an unknown youth team to Champions League clubs. Off-field decisions—media relations, social media behavior, and sponsorship—affect how fans and coaches perceive their character.
The "Coach Career" mode now features cutscenes featuring meetings, transfer negotiations, and press conferences. All action is presented in the form of semi-directed cutscenes.
Players who create their own clubs can choose a logo, uniform, stadium, and development philosophy.
